Last week, we welcomed Platform Groen Gas and representatives of the political party BBB (BoerBurgerBeweging) to our Bio-LNG production site in Luttelgeest (The Netherlands). This working visit focused on the role of Bio-LNG in making heavy road transport more sustainable.

Valuable discussions about biogas and Bio-LNG

We had valuable discussions with the delegation about the biogas production chain, the valorisation of manure and the crucial contribution that Bio-LNG makes to sustainable mobility. We also considered how we can further scale up this circular fuel production and embed it in policy, so that the transition to cleaner transport can be accelerated.

Political support indispensable

We were impressed by the high level of knowledge and commitment within the delegation. Those present emphasised that political support remains essential at local, national and European level. Only through joint efforts can the sustainability of heavy transport become a reality on a large scale.

Working together on sustainable choices

The visit highlights the importance of cooperation between politicians, industry stakeholders and the business community. Rolande has been committed to fossil-free heavy goods transport for many years and sees Bio-LNG as an immediately available and scalable solution for drastically reducing CO₂ emissions.
