Construction of the new Rolande Bio-LNG station in Wörth an der Isar is in full swing. This will strengthen our network in southern Germany, an important link for international transport corridors between the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and south-eastern Europe.

Located directly on the A92 motorway between Munich and Deggendorf, this location offers optimal accessibility for heavy road transport that wants to become more sustainable and save money.

The station is scheduled to open in January 2026.

Bio-LNG: sustainable fuel with proven impact and lowest costs

This expansion makes it even easier for transporters and shippers to make the transition to fossil-free driving. Bio-LNG is currently:

  • The cheapest route to maximum CO₂ reduction
  • Immediately usable in existing LNG trucks
  • Good for up to 200% CO₂ reduction (Well-to-Wheel) due to the negative emissions from manure fermentation
  • Operationally identical to diesel in terms of range, performance and ease of refuelling

This means: immediate, measurable CO₂ reduction and a demonstrably lower Total Cost of Ownership.

The station in Wörth an der Isar represents a new step in our ambition to build the largest and most reliable Bio-LNG network in Western Europe. With this, we are fully committed to our mission: Fueling Clean Transport.
